On November 17, the UNC Greensboro community will make the annual march from campus to the Greensboro Coliseum to cheer on the men’s basketball team’s home game against Towson.

Storm the Streets” takes participants along Walker Avenue and on to South Chapman Street. Police will close Walker Avenue between Josephine Boyd Street and Kenilworth Street around 5:15 p.m. The walk will begin at 5:30 p.m., and campus police will enact rolling closures along the rest of the route to the Coliseum.

Drivers who may be impacted by the closure may want to leave earlier if possible or factor in extra time until all the marchers have walked across Josephine Boyd Street.

Spartans who participate will meet at the UNCG Baseball Stadium and are all encouraged to dress in blue and gold. The best-dressed Spartans can win a prize in the Spirit Contest.
