UNC-Greensboro has partnered with the Association of College & University Educators (ACUE) to offer an evidence-based instructor certification program. The program has been shown to improve student grade performance, decrease DFW rates without sacrificing rigor, and close equity gaps.

ACUE offers four microcourses that allow participants to examine their own teaching practice in meaningful, reflective ways. Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate in Effective College Instruction recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE).

UNCG recognized our first cohort of Certificate awardees on August 16, 2023 at the UNCG Faculty Convocation.
