RESEARCH
J. Tiffany Holland is a public educator, freedom dreamer, and wayward scholar. A former performing artist and middle-school teacher, Tiffany holds an M.A. in history from Duke University. She also attended UNC-G for an M.A. in history with a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her scholarly passions focus on the intersections of blackness, working-class identities, and ability in a U.S. imperial context. She is interested in the expansiveness and complexities of black identity and the potentials of black liberation.
