Denise serves as second-in-command support for the Global Engagement Office. Additionally, she supports the university in the management and development of new and existing global partnerships, international agreements, and with hosting international visitors and scholars.

- MS Ed in International Higher Education Leadership (Emphasis in Multicultural Counseling) from Old Dominion University
- BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University

Denise joined the Spartan family in 2007 and serves as the Senior Director of Global Engagement. She began her career with GEO as the Assistant Director of Study Abroad and Exchange Programs supporting inbound international student mobility efforts. As a military dependent, she spent her childhood traveling and continues to have that same passion today. Denise enjoys encouraging others to think, learn, and experience life globally!
