Alexander Tighe
Biography
Dr. Tighe joined the faculty at UNCG in August 2024 after completing his PhD at Bentley University. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Tighe earned his CPA license and worked for PwC in the Boston office. While at PwC, his primary focus was consulting with clients subjected to various federal excise taxes.
Dr. Tighe’s research leverages qualitative methodologies to investigate current challenges within the accounting profession. His works focuses on learning and development and formation of professional identity for young staff within public accounting.
