The educational landscape has changed dramatically in recent years, and more training is needed to understand the growing concerns in higher education. Today’s challenges require higher education professionals to think critically about new problems, engage with diverse student bodies, and inform policies and practices for college students.

The Student Affairs in Higher Education certificate program is designed for working higher education administrators, recent college graduates, and practitioners who want to improve their skills to tackle the challenges facing higher education. The curriculum closely follows the ACPA/NASPA Professional Competencies as well as the CAS Standards for graduate professional preparation. For those who are interested, the certificate can act as a precursor for practitioners interested in our master’s in student affairs and higher education program.
