Offering both on-campus and online options, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management prepares students for a wide range of management roles in sectors such as hotels, restaurants, event planning, travel, tourism, attractions, craft beverages, esports, and experience management. Students complete core courses that provide a solid foundation in hospitality and tourism management, while also selecting electives to tailor their education to specific industry segments. Elective courses include hotel and lodging operations management, destination management, sustainable food and beverage practices, revenue management, event planning, wine appreciation, and attraction management.

- You will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of topics that will prepare you for various roles in the hospitality and tourism industry, including hotel and lodging management, restaurant management, destination management, food and beverage management, revenue management, event planning, and wine and craft beverage administration.
- You will also benefit from extensive networking opportunities with industry employers through guest speakers and student organizations like the Hospitality and Tourism Student Club. Our program boasts partnerships with numerous local and global organizations, including Proximity Hotel, O. Henry Hotel, Marriott Hotels, GIA Restaurant, Guilford County Hotel Association, and the Piedmont Triad Destination Marketing Organization. Plus, many of our alumni hold key management positions or own local businesses, providing valuable connections in the field.

- Nearly 100 percent of our graduates are employed within six months, with 89 percent of them obtaining employment within three months of graduation.
- Graduates have obtained employment at companies such as Marriott International, the Walt Disney Co., Darden Restaurants, Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels, VisitNC, and the Greensboro Convention & Visitors Bureau.
