Graduate researchers present ‘Scholarship That Matters’

After two years online, UNCG’s Graduate Research and Creativity Expo returned in person last Friday. In six categories, a $1,000 prize was awarded to students who best succeeded in communicating their research in a clear and engaging manner.

UNCG alumna Rhiannon Giddens wins Grammy

Rhiannon Giddens has won her first Grammy Award as a solo artist. “They’re Calling Me Home” won in the Best Folk Album category. The album was recorded by Giddens with multi-instrumentalist/percussionist Francesco Turrisi in Ireland during the pandemic.
