Join your fellow UNC Greensboro staff and administrators next week as we celebrate the outstanding work and dedication UNCG staff have executed throughout the 2022-2023 academic year.
On Monday, May 15 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. the Staff Senate and Chancellor Gilliam will host a reception at the Alumni House to celebrate all staff while honoring the 2023 UNCG Staff Excellence and Gladys Strawn Bullard Staff Award winners. Recipients of 2022-2023 departmental, unit level, and staff stars awards will also be celebrated. All staff are invited and encouraged to join the festivities.
Staff Senate leadership will join Chancellor Gilliam for remarks recognizing the critical role of UNCG staff at approximately 3:15 p.m.
Employees do not have to take leave to attend this staff appreciation event if it occurs during their workday. However, they should secure supervisors’ approval to ensure University operations are covered during this time period. Supervisors are encouraged to provide flexibility enabling all employees to attend.
