The National Student Employment Association identifies one week each year for colleges and universities to recognize the significant contributions of students who work on-campus. These hidden heroes support the daily operations of 120 offices and departments across campus.
With over 2,700 students employed throughout the year, there is a strong chance that you interact with a student employee on a daily basis.
The Division of Student Affairs Student Employee Experience committee is encouraging faculty and staff from across campus to take the opportunity to show their appreciation for our student employees and thank them for their hard work. Each spring, supervisors from across the University have an opportunity to nominate student staff for the Student Employee of the Year Award. This year included an impressive array of nominees.
Congratulations go out to Doniel Bullock who is UNCG’s 2023 Student Employee of the Year. Doniel had made significant contributions to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry during her employment and this award is well deserved.
