Credit & Degree Planning
Whether you’re already a student at UNC Greensboro or you are looking to transfer in the future, there are tools to help you stay on track to graduate on time.
Whether you’re looking to transfer to UNCG and want to know how the courses you’ve already taken will count, or you’re a current student who would like to fulfill a degree requirement at another institution, consult the Transfer Credit Planner for information on how courses will transfer.
If you’re just getting started at a North Carolina Community College and want to know what courses to take to transfer most efficiently to UNCG, follow our Transfer Guides and AAS Degree Plans for the confidence to know you’re on the right track.
As a current UNCG student, Degree Works is a comprehensive checklist used to track all your degree requirements. Reference it regularly to review what courses you’ve already completed, what’s left, and what is in progress.
There’s a lot to consider at registration time. Make sure you’re prepared! Consult this guide to make sure you know your registration window, you’ve taken care of any holds, and you know what courses to take.
Sometimes transfer credit doesn’t apply to your degree requirements how you hoped. There may be ways we can help. Look into your options for petitioning to fulfill a general education requirement with your existing credit.
