Families at LeBauer Park for Spartan Cinema

Families and friends can again come together for fun and games and a movie night under the stars. UNC Greensboro will host a one-time Spartan Cinema event at LeBauer Park on June 10.

The University will screen “The Mitchells vs. the Machines” beginning at sundown, 8:30, on the park’s UNCG Great Lawn.

Come downtown around 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the park amenities. Representatives from UNCG will be available to talk about their services, including the Center for New North Carolinians and the Speech and Hearing Center. Spartan Athletics staff will also be there to play ball with kids and discuss the upcoming summer basketball camps.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts will show its School of Art students’ animation reel just before the movie.

Guests should bring chairs and blankets to make themselves comfortable for the movie. Snacks are available for purchase at the food and drink kiosks at LeBauer Park or participants can bring a picnic basket to enjoy a fun al fresco cinema experience.
