Most Sloan immigrants are from Ireland, , usually protestants from Northern Ireland . Many of these Irish protestants were originally from Scotland  and make up the Scot-Irish.  Of course, there are also many Catholic Sloans from Ireland, plus Sloans straight from Scotland , England  and other European countries.  Both Northern Ireland and Scotland now fly the Union Jack of the United Kingdom as it's flag.  Did you know that  plus  plus  equal  ?  Click here to learn more about the flags.

This page started out as an attempt to list and link all the Sloan immigrants.  However, that quickly turned into a lot of work just to maintain the the links.  I have decided to use this page as a sampling of the different origins of Sloans/Sloanes/Slones and also to list the patriarch of some of the more prominent Sloan lines.  If your Sloan immigrant ancestor is not here and you would like him listed, drop me note.
