Fibromyalgia Program

The fibromyalgia service/research program was established to provide an exercise program for individuals with fibromyalgia syndrome and to study the effects of exercise on the physical and psychological symptoms, as well as the functional capacity related to this rheumatological disorder. The program is housed at the Gateway University Research Park-a joint venture between UNCG and N.C. A&T State University, and is under the direction of Dr. Bill Karper. For more information, contact Dr. Karper at 336-334-3035 or at wbkarper@uncg.edu.
