Second Degree applicants need to submit the following:
Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended, with degree earned and date earned. Transcripts must be in your native language with a literal English translation. You must submit all transcripts, regardless of the number of classes taken, year you took the classes, or grades earned. The International Programs Center at UNCG will review all international college/university coursework to determine if the degree is considered equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree. Under most circumstances, you must apply for a major that is different than your first bachelor’s degree.
Note: To have coursework reviewed for specific UNCG transfer credit, university catalog descriptions for each course/class taken must be submitted. This is not required for admission.
All applicants whose official native language is other than English must provide proof of English proficiency by one of the following means:
TOEFL – IBT 79, PBT 550, CBP 213
IELTS – 6.5 overall score
SAT verbal 400
College-transferable English course, with “C” grade or higher (from an accredited U.S. college/university)
Successful completion of the INTERLINK Language Program at UNCG.
